Another iconic example of the Sarasota School of Architecture is Hiss studio. Designed with the modernist principles such as a strong geometric shape, and uniquely Sarasota Modern influence of utilizing natural light, airflow, and the sub tropical Sarasota landscape to a synergistic effect.

The strong contrast between a simple geometric shape and the beautiful organic tropical plants enhances the clean modern lines.

Interior spaces continued the bold geometric shapes and use of glass to create a light and open space. Polished concrete floors both enhance the simplicity of appearance and design, but also reflect light flowing in the floor to ceiling glass exterior.

Perched on fourteen thin steel columns, elevation afforded the occupants maximized views from the glass walls.
